We present current research projects and give information about the academic education of our students in geoinformatics.

Our currect research focus on:
- Numerical modelling of urban microclimate with a special focus of urban vegetation modelling
- Advanced analysis and methods to assess the impact of global climate change and urban redesign on thermal stress and associated risks.
- Simulation of human thermal stress when using urban envirionments
- Advanced methods for statistical analysis (e.g. yearly analysis) also based on maschine learning methods
